Blog # 14 - What is "Political Justice"?

P.S.   When we see before us what is the most correct position to take in a dilemma, and we hesitate and resist doing that most correct thing for some reason, it often later becomes an obvious indication that the Spirit of the Lord is withdrawing from us.  It is called doing something begrudgingly because the price seems too steep to pay for the greatest good.

"... not grudgingly, otherwise the abundance of the manifestations of the Spirit shall be withheld."  D&C 70:14

It is synonymous with murmuring or complaining.  It also means:  unwilling, reluctant, sullen malice, malevolence, hatred, and with discontent. This is the spirit that took over Laman and Lemuel who were commanded to help Nephi build the ship.  [Study 1 Ne 17:17, 19, 41, 44-45, 47].  This is a terrible spirit that attacks us all and if we give into it, it robs us of the Spirit of the Lord and our blessings, and begins to take us off the path of the Gospel.

"For behold, it is not counted unto him for righteousness.  For behold, if a man being evil giveth a gift, he doeth it grudgingly; wherefore it is counted unto him the same as if he had retained the gift; wherefore he is counted evil before God."  Moroni 7:7-8

When we grudgingly administer justice because of the great apparent cost, or resist practicing any of the attributes of our Father, we get weaker in His Attributes, and begin to move away from Him.  This process, if not quickly checked, is called apostasy, or moving away from the truth.  It is a vicious virus and we all must guard against it overcoming us, as a plague or a desolating scourge.

Dear Sisters (& Brothers), your cause is just   [your testimonies of abuse at the hands of Bro. Lynn]   but we can do nothing for you;  and if we take up for you we will be responsible for destroying the Work by casting a bad light on the "revelation" to Bro. LaMoine and then there will be no end to the mess.'   [adapted from H. C. 4:80]

Blog # 17 - How Did Jesus Honor His Father's Priesthood Justice System?

P.S.     We are deluged, in this Work, with the false and destructive doctrine of infallibility, that the presiding High Priesthood holder, the Pres. of the High Priesthood, the man who holds all the keys, can't fall or err in judgment.  But is that a true doctrine?   If that modern Mormon, Catholic position is true, then why did the Lord reveal that such a man could transgress and could be excommunicated?

"Inasmuch as a President of the High Priesthood shall transgress, he shall be had in remembrance before the common council of the church, who shall be assisted by twelve counselors of the High Priesthood... Thus, none shall be exempted from the justice and the laws of God ... "  D&C 107:82-84

"... if thine eye which seeth for thee, him that is appointed to watch over thee to show thee light, becometh a transgressor and offend thee, pluck him out."   JST Mark 9:46

If a President of the High Priesthood should transgress after he holds that lofty position, that is bad enough. But if he was a great transgressor before he was ever appointed, how is it possible, in God's Work, that he could be elevated to such an exalted station? Certainly this malfeasance reflects on somebody!  Who might that be?  Who were the watchmen on the watchtower that were spiritually asleep, or were they also too busy sinning themselves, or fleecing the people?  Is God to blame for appointing such a man to that high and holy calling, or was it blind leaders, acting as though they were servants of God receiving revelation, who have appointed and continue to sustain such a wicked man, allowing him to wear sheep clothing?  Consequently we are now all in a deep ditch not enjoying much vision among us, and that is causing many of us to perish through apostasy!  Woe, woe unto this people for allowing and sustaining such leaders to lead them to destruction, and to destroy their path of righteousness!

I understand that you are angry at me for speaking boldly on these things, but wouldn't it be a better use of your energy to take personal responsibility for this deplorable situation yourself?  Wouldn't it be much more correct for you to repent in sack cloth and ashes for the fact that you have helped create an abomination among us - that is making desolate?  Why aren't there many more than me, who are appalled at our "awful situation", enough to stand up and demand justice?   Study prayerfully Moroni  chapter 7 to understand the prophecy of our current corrupted position and how we can correct it.
