Introduction to "An Appeal to My Judges"
It is almost impossible for most of us to even imagine how far down a person can descend into evil, carnality and devilish behavior once they sin, and continue to sin against the light of Christ that is born into them. If you have not read the excerpts from OAA’s talk of 15 Sep.1993 on "Unrighteous Dominion" and child abuse in the Group, in the previous blog, you need to read it before you read this blog.
The next eighty some odd pages will give you a brief glimpse of what I mentioned in Blog # 7 of the great and hidden evil among us in this Work. These things are not new on this earth, for they have been going on since the days of Cain, as Bro. Rul.on personally explained it to me many years ago. Most of you will have a very difficult time believing what you will be reading! Some of you will become even more angry at me than you already are, for spreading such ‘evil stories’ that you may claim are not true. I am only going to introduce you to approximately 1% of what really has happened to my family and probably to many others in this Work, in the Church and throughout the world in our day. Some of the people I love the most have been subjected to such atrocities that it strains at credulity to even hint at it, much more tell a small portion in mixed company.
The things you will be reading, I believe with all my heart are true and factual – they really happened! You will become privy to less than the tip of the iceberg that God has required me to pass through in its entirety. For one with such limited capacity, this has been Abrahamic for me! However, after wading through these things the Lord has blessed me beyond my understanding with insights and revelation of His greatness and love for me.
Thy mind, O man! if thou wilt lead a soul unto salvation, must stretch as high as the utmost heavens, and search into and contemplate the darkest abyss, and the broad expanse of eternity--thou must commune with God. TPJS 137
Why am I revealing these things? I am sure there will be many theories you will try and use to explain away what you will be reading. You may doubt my sanity, question whether or not I am possessed by evil, or your favorite motto might be to exclaim that my motive is to destroy the Work of God. The first two possibilities, I assure you, I have even raised within myself many times. The third is not true and it is impossible that I would ever have the power sufficient to destroy the Work of God, even if I were of such a mind – which I am not!
“Remember, remember that it is not the work of God that is frustrated, but the work of men [evil men].” D&C 3:3
I would not recommend that children or youth read these pages but after one is married and has had some experience with life, its complications and trials, these few sinister happenings among us must be understood if we are going to defeat them. You cannot conquer an enemy that you don’t believe exists. Ostrich-like denial helps us not at all. Knowledge is power and if we don’t gain sufficient power over evil in this life it may end up possessing us in the next.
Also before reading this blog I would recommend that you read or re-read Blog #5 to give you a little background to help you understand the context of this blog or it might not make much sense what I am writing about.And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them: I am no devil, for there is none - and thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance. 2 Nephi 28:22
What do I hope to accomplish by disclosing this dark and loathsome history? I want accountability, justice, and a method put in place to check or balance the almost unlimited power that men in leadership have in this Work and obviously they can't handle it in righteousness and neither can you and I!
